I am a hugely ambitious coach with a proven track record of developing young players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally. Whilst I love working with young players, I have the desire to coach senior players in the future and I believe this is a realistic prospect due to my knowledge and my ability to connect and get the best out of people. I am currently privileged to work in an elite coaching environment at Aberdeen FC Youth Academy, where I have built a strong reputation for creating demanding and positive learning environments where players and staff perform to their full potential whilst maintaining a strong awareness of professionalism and building for the long-term. Throughout my career I have developed a coaching philosophy that maximises team and individual potential, through developing a playing style and culture that is as adaptable as it is uncompromising. Whilst there are key values that will remain a constant, I understand that football is a highly complex industry that demands a balance between rigidness and Key Attributes: Personal Drive: A self-starter who brings commitment, energy and drive to each task, who works well independently and as part of a collaborative team, and who has built up a bank of experience in a coaching career spanning 12 years. Communication: A personable and popular character with the ability to pass on instructions clearly and concisely; has an approachable and caring personality that helps build excellent working relationships with players and parents/guardians. Leadership: Experience of leading from the front, managing and co-ordinating teams, and displays an enthusiastic and professional approach that elicits a positive response from fellow coaches and players. Software Expertise: Proficient in the use of computer programmes to analyse video footage and record squad data online. Teamwork: Understands the value of working together to achieve a collective goal and has gained a wealth of experience from collaborating with other coaches and specialists. Organisation & Planning: Highly organised and methodical professional with the ability to multi-task, make quick and effective decisions and juggle competing demands whilst maintaining a clear focus on each task.
