About Liam Melley

As a marketing student at Clemson University with a minor in psychology, I am driven by a passion for understanding consumer behavior and translating that insight into impactful marketing strategies. With hands-on experience in sales support, event management, and customer service, I’ve developed a well-rounded skill set that enables me to excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Currently, I work as a Sales Support Associate at Simply Fresh Events, where I support sales through lead generation, proposal creation, and on-site client engagement. I have a strong foundation in research and relationship building, which I use to generate business opportunities and negotiate pricing with potential clients. My previous role as an Event Captain at Simply Fresh Events taught me to lead production teams, communicate effectively with clients, and ensure seamless event execution from logistics to delivery. In addition to my professional experience, I have taken on leadership roles within Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, serving as Philanthropy Director and Merchandise & Public Relations Chair. In these positions, I’ve led fundraising efforts, organized events, and collaborated on initiatives to support our chapter’s mission. Through these roles, I honed my skills in event planning, cross-functional team collaboration, and creative design for promotional content.
