Liam Patey is a high-performance sales coach and automotive executive with over 18 years of experience leading operations, building teams, and driving profitability in competitive retail environments.Originally from Newfoundland, he started in automotive sales at 19 and progressed through every level of management, including Director of Finance and General Manager. He became the youngest GM in his auto group at an OEM franchise and later helped build a used car operation from the ground up — gaining experience in both corporate systems and independent retail growth.As Finance Director, he achieved the highest back-end profitability across a 15-store group. While leading a Vancouver Island dealership, the store earned the region’s highest customer satisfaction rating and received the area’s first Consumer Choice Award in Automotive. He also led community initiatives, including the largest donation ever made to the region’s youth football program.Liam was the first Canadian selected to join The Elliott Group, where he contributed to its global expansion through tactical, performance-focused coaching across multiple markets.A lifelong hockey player and sports enthusiast, Liam’s leadership philosophy is rooted in discipline, trust, and team culture — values that extend beyond business into everyday life. He spent part of his youth in Abu Dhabi, including a year in private school, and has lived in Nanaimo, British Columbia since 2018 with his wife and daughter.
