About Liam Searcy

As a MPH candidate, I have experience in the creating, planning, and assessment of public health interventions and promotion efforts. My interest is in child-maternal health, understanding and solving for disparities seen among Black children and women. I have formal research experience from this program, in addition to my undergraduate fields of Biology and Psychology. I serve as a university leader and mentor within my disciplines. Most recently I have been in role as Assistant Manager of Operations at lululemon. I have successfully managed labor through strategy creation, trend analysis, and reviewing key performance metrics. I consistently seek and use my resources to make the most informed decision with the overall business in mind. This has allowed the business to grow and be recognized as a top 50 store in North America. In role, I have also gained valuable experience in performance management and using labor planning software, such as Dayforce. I aspire to have a long-term career in healthcare serving as a physician, administrator, and consultant in a dynamic environment. My educational and work experiences set me up for success thanks to my knowledge of health care delivery systems, leadership development skills, business acumen, and communication that is direct, yet human centered.
