About Liam Thompson

My name is Liam Thompson and I am currently in my 2nd year at Loyalist College studying child and youth care. The main reason why I wanted to join the CYC program is because of my experiences as an uncle to 4 nieces and nephews. Being looked up to and being a good role model was always a priority for me, and it's a huge reason for the person I am today. My main goal in this profession is to help out and have an impact on as many kids as I can. Seeing what children experience and go through nowadays makes me want to help out even more. As long as I make one huge impact on at least one child's life, I would end up being really satisfied with that. My interests are playing sports, going to the gym, mathematics, gaming, and being outdoors. ​ My greatest traits are my great personality, along with my great sense of humor. Another trait that I posses is always putting 100% effort into my work and creativity even on the smallest things.
