Currently providing strategic and operational support for the senior leadership of the Neighbourhoods Directorate at MCC, helping projects to work more effectively and increase the capacity of projects and staff to deliver council priorities. Offering support and advice on matters affecting the organisation, budget, civil and protocol matters and take responsibility for dealing with confidential and sensitive matters on their behalf. Connecting workstreams across different areas of the directorate and facilitating improved communication and co-working on complex and influential projects. Using my skills and experiences to help support Directorate and Council wide Award evenings and celebration events across the council and with different groups of staff and Stakeholders. Proud to share I was formally Diagnosed with Combined Type ADHD in late 2022 and continuing my journey learning more about Neurodiversity. Outside of my work role, I am the elected club Chairman of The Manchester Titans American Football team. Planning to help the Titans to continue to be the pinnacle of British American football organisation and development. Previous experience in 2019-2024, coordinating Local authority multi-agency safeguarding Channel panel meetings and tailored support for individuals vulnerable to exploitation and violent extremism as part of the Prevent duty. I have extensive experience working with Challenging behaviours in Adults, teenagers and Children alongside mental health difficulties and learning difficulties. Supporting vulnerable people towards positive outcomes for themselves and their wider community. I effectively worked with Social housing providers, Police and Probation services as well as Mental health and substance misuse professionals in a Multi agency approach to manage Serious offenders in the community. I have also worked in Safeguarding Children in Residential children's homes as well as time working in a multi-agency CAMHS Team engaging difficult young people. Professional Qualifications including a Masters Degrees in Criminology from the University of Manchester, a Bachelor of Arts in Learning Disability studies and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. ILM level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management- 2024.
