About Liam Wake

At Emily Carr, my training and practice were focused on asking questions and critical thinking. Rather than mastering a specific medium, my focus was on understanding people, problems and situations then deciding the best way to communicate my ideas. This approach has been an invaluable asset in running my own creative firm. While many firms specialize in a single aspect or style of creative production, our aim has always been to understand our client's problem and the context in which it exists as comprehensively as possible. This allows us to provide focused, genuinely creative solutions, rather than just pretty pictures. Additionally, I'm very experienced in multiple forms of creative production, from photography and video production to graphic and web design. This gives me a unique perspective when collaborating on creative projects, being able to both advise and direct production and to execute individual tasks.
