Throughout my life I have utilized practicality and communication to foster positive relationships in theworkplace. Knowing how I can contribute in the most efficient and practical manner helps contribute toteam goals.At Camp Kee Tov my role of senior counselor played a large role in the day-to-day operations of thecamp, as senior counselors served as the connection between management of the camp and junior staff. Icommunicated efficiently our duties and the plan for the day to junior staff members, then managed everystep of the day, deciding the most practical ways to handle time-management along with timing onactivities and transportation. I have also served as Treasurer for my fraternity, Kappa Sigma, in which Ithought through the best possible solutions to handle the financial situation of the organization. By havingthe ability to facilitate an understanding of why our organization made the financial decisions we had toour members, I was able to build trust and create working professional conversations about thosedecisions.I value having an open line of communication with anybody I might be working with, as it preventsmisunderstandings and helps cohesion. My skills allow me to create and maintain those lines ofcommunication which can prove integral. I hope to acquire an internship for the summer and know I canbe a crucial part of a successful team.
