Thank you very much for taking your time to read Leon's profile. Dr. Liang (Leon) Chen is an associate professor and McCray Professor of Business Analytics at West Texas A&M University. He has earned his PhD degree in Decision Science & Information Systems from Gatton College of Business and Economics, the University of Kentucky. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in Business from Renmin University of China. His primary research interests include data analytics, e-business (esp. online reviews, crowdsourcing, collaborative community), knowledge management, and supplier development. Leon's research has been published in notable journals such as Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, Knowledge & Process Management, Journal of Electronic Commerce Research, and Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce, and presented in conferences such as Americas Conference on Information Systems, Decision Sciences Institute Annual Meeting, International Conference, and Production and Operations Management Society Annual Meeting. He is an active reviewer of journals such as Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce and Journal of Electronic Commerce Research and of conferences like ICIS, AMCIS, CIST and PACIS. Before coming to United States, he worked as project manager, senior analyst, and department manager in a leading market research and consulting company in Beijing, China.
