About Libby Gier

I bring creativity, inspiration, and a suite of leadership skills to any interdisciplinary team working on environmental management policies, communication materials, or strategic planning. I balance enthusiasm and optimism with respectful understanding of the complexities of the socio-ecological system. I have a background in biology, an advanced degree in environmental policy, and experience in interdisciplinary facilitation and conflict resolution, I am passionate about finding effective ways for diverse groups to share leadership experiences and come to consensus resolutions. Leadership is so many things- supporting a husband to train and complete a half ironman competition, providing coaching support to youth and new ultimate frisbee players, collaboratively planning a shared learning workshop, being the voice that speaks up to present a solution for the group.whatever it is, I enjoy helping others to be their best selves.
