About Libby Howell

Nature unlocked is a landscape ecology programme,developing and testing methods at Kew’s living laboratory at Wakehurst. The programme aims to deliver innovative high resolution science methodologies, applied and tested in areas of landscape recovery and biodiversity in order to generate nature based solutions at a landscape scale. The programme feeds into ecosystem stewardship policy and aims build a data bedrock on which future studies can be advanced through collaborative partnerships and training the next generation of scientists. Through my career in developing environmental education programmes and academic background in research methods in physical geography, I am able to combine my geographical background, learning and development skillset and management experience in order to facilitate and coordinate the project into phase 2 of its delivery.
