About Libby Kearns

Currently I am working as a float medical secretary at Blanchard Valley Medical Associates (BVMA) in Findlay, Ohio. This position has opened my eyes to the health community, diagnostic testing, and overall benefitted my communication skills. Not only do I have the privilege of being a secretary for family care physicians, but I also work for pulmonologist, cardiology, and podiatry. This job has assisted me in adaption to a high paced environment, from scheduling conflicts, to helping the doctor’s from referrals to refills, and overall helping patients with their needs. Between the doctors, referring offices, and patients, I’m always on my toes ready to help. Although this is my first time working in the medical field as a secretary, I’ve truly fallen in love with BVMA, the doctors I work for, and the friends I’ve made along the way. I hope that throughout my time here, I may be able to work up in this field continuing to grow in my knowledge.
