About Libby Krause

I have been a faculty member in the USC Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy since graduating from their DPT program in 2013. Since 2018, my role has been primarily teaching in the hybrid pathway of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in neurologic and cardiopulmonary content. Prior to that, I primarily practiced at Keck Hospital of USC. My clinical experience and expertise is in the management of individuals with neurologic impairment in the acute care setting. I believe that online/hybrid learning is the future of education. I am dedicated to excellence in online teaching and developing cultures of inclusivity and belonging in the online classroom. I lead the Leadership Development Initiative Team which conducts leadership development workshops within the division. I am also heavily involved in the Excellence in Teaching, and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives within the division including publications and presentations at the university and national level. I am from Australia and have lived in many parts of the United States, but call the Los Angeles area “home.” I currently lives with my spouse, 2 young daughters, and dog, Penny, in Torrance, CA.
