About Libby Lassiter

Libby leads innovative projects and high performance teams. She has has strong experience as the former President of Bayer Properties and of EVP Redevelopment at GGP. Newest venture is as Principal at Tessa CRE, re-developing historic buildings via adaptive reuse and bring retail driven vibrancy to her Birmingham projects. Libby is also an investor with her partners and clients on her development deals. Industry involvement: Women in Real Estate (WIRE), the CRE Gold Council for Urban Land Institute (ULI), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Serves on the Board of Directors of REV Birmingham, Board Chair of Common Thread, and 2023 graduate of Leadership Birmingham. Ambassador for CORE with mission to deliver career opportunities in real estate for college students of color. Co-host of Share the Mic podcast - conversations between Black and white friends in the south. Libby is passionate about serving the Birmingham community via leading development projects as well as being a community advocate.
