Junior High ELA Teacher | Technology Integration Advocate | Lifelong Learner I am a dedicated English Language Arts teacher with a BA in English Literature from Mount Allison University and a Bachelor of Education from Mount Saint Vincent University. Currently, I am pursuing my Master of Education in Technology Integration at Mount Saint Vincent, further deepening my commitment to using innovative tools to enhance learning. I strive to create a supportive, engaging, and dynamic classroom environment that meets students where they are. My teaching philosophy focuses on integrating technology to bridge learning gaps and foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. I emphasize real-life applications of skills, promoting independent thinking and self-advocacy in my students. Originally from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, I am passionate about creating inclusive, student-centered learning experiences that ensure all learners feel valued, engaged, and empowered to reach their full potential.
