As a sixth form learning mentor, I am lucky enough to spend my days surrounded by a fantastic bunch of A Level students. The variety of responsibilities within my role certainly keeps me on my toes, but never leaves me bored or spare of time! Study support & intervention, UCAS, apprenticeships & personal statements, extracurricular activities and organisation of trips & visits - there is always something to be done. But it is the mental health and wellbeing support that I am able to offer each and every student that is the most fulfilling aspect of my job. Fantastic bonds have been made and as I observe the students evolve and mature during their time with us, I am filled with pride.
