About Libor Chaloupek

I would like to continue to learn new things as I always did. This is essential for IT administrator. There are always new technologies. And we are the people who needs to be little in advance. My experiences: Generally I have a experience with the operation of different server types and network environment. I administered Office LAN servers with accounting and economy softwares, shared data, printers and so on. But also servers in data-centers which was running business applications like e-mails, websites, databases, virtual servers, firewalls, VPN and other specific applications like Media streaming servers or Gaming servers. Most of the LAN servers which I managed was running on Windows, but most production / live servers was running on Linux. So I have experiences with both. I have also decent experience with Virtualization. I manaed few VMWare hosts. And additionally managed some rented virtual servers. I should also mention the operation experience of shared hosting services and domain registrations. I run a hosting service on virtualized servers using VM Ware, WHM / cPanel and Hostbill. Another impressive experience which I had by one of my client is with MS Windows Embedded. I started on Windows XP Embedded and then Windows Embedded Standard (based on Win 7). I was also providing end-user support. Saving peoples e-lives every day. Removing viruses from their unprotected computers, recovering deleted data, installing and setting up new applications, advicing them how to setup some device or software via phone and so on.
