About Libor Kudela

I like to use programming, math, engineering, and physics. Simulation performance is important! I build and study mathematical models of physical systems, using partial differential equations and all sorts of numerical methods and tricks. I am making sure that these simulations are as fast as possible. Efficient and accurate predictions, system identification, predictive control, optimization (gradient based or gradient free) are all the things I care about. Mathematics, physics, programming, discovering, writing. That is what I do every day, mostly in energy related subject (Thermodynamics, Fluid dynamics, Electric devices, Chemistry - sometimes). What I use: Python, Julia, Modelica, Matlab, Finite element method (FeniCS), Ordinary Differential Systems, Parallel Computing, Linux, Javascript, Neural networks, Virtual machines, Data Science, CAD/CAM, Linear Algebra I currently work as a researcher at the Brno University of Technology where I am also finishing my Ph.D. I write scientific papers about energy distribution and optimization, which are published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Lately, I have found a new interest in Javascript, HTML, CSS, Python, Databases, and Linux.
