With over a decade of experience in communications and operations, I, Lidia, am a dedicated advocate for economic and racial equity, deeply committed to a Just Transition. My passion for driving change has led me to lead and support various impactful campaigns, including efforts to abolish ICE, champion immigrant rights, and uphold reproductive rights in both the private and nonprofit sectors. My journey has allowed me to contribute meaningfully to organizations like Tommy Hilfiger, Custom Collaborative, and the Ms. Foundation for Women. Currently, as the Communications Manager at Movement Strategy Center, I oversee social media planning and strategy, content creation, digital communications management, website maintenance, and style guide development. My role extends beyond these tasks as I use my expertise in environmental sustainability, policy, racial justice, and movement building to foster a more resilient and equitable organizational culture. I excel in crafting narratives that resonate and align with our broader vision. As a big-picture thinker, I love incorporating metaphors and analogies in my work, adding depth and creativity to our campaigns. My educational background includes a Master of Science degree in Risk, Resilience, and Integrity Management from Glasgow Caledonian New York College, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion and Textiles from California State University-Los Angeles. Outside of work, my joys include boxing, dancing, and reading, often in the company of my best friend and road dog, Mija. Our adventures together reflect my wanderlust spirit and my unwavering dedication to a Just Transition.
