Have over twenty years of experience in aircraft manufactured by companies such as: Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, Lockheed, Raytheon, and Gulfstream. FAA certified A&P licensed mechanic. Performed complex modifications in variety of aircrafts such as: G-200, G-150, G-V, KC-135, C-17, DC-10, Premier I (The Premier I is the first certified business jet with a composite fuselage) and Hawker-Horizon (composite structure), Hawkers, King Air, C-130, DC-9, P-3, 707, 727,737,747, 757 and L-1011, 747 VIP. Instruct and guide co-workers in their assignments as requested by supervisors. Work with engineering requirements, work orders, prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, documents, verbal and electronic information to manufacture to quality requirements, parts and assemblies. Setup and perform all manual assembly operations and related machine functions required to accomplish assignments. Use precision measuring instruments required to accomplish tasks. Assemble and mate structural parts and assemblies by drilling, route, ream, countersink, spot-face, counter-bore and installing fasteners utilizing hand-powered tools. Utilize tooling in the assembly of components into sub-assemblies or end items. Verify work performed is per work instructions and meets process and/or engineering specification. Identify discrepancies found per applicable procedure. Ensure equipment and tool certification occurs per procedure. Perform work within allotted schedules. Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training and assisting employees at all classification levels. Involved - in large projects such as: Hush kit modification, wing- planks, skins, spars repaired, and VIP interior modifications.
