Naast mijn omscholing tot Sociaal Maatschappelijk Dienstverlener, vind ik het erg leuk om vrijwilligerswerk te doen. Sinds 2008 werk ik als vrijwilliger voor de Tussenvoorziening (voorheen Rode Kruis Midden Nederland) en sinds 2014 ook bij U-Centraal. Ik begeleid, adviseer en ondersteun mensen in financiële nood. Daarnaast doe ik ook de financiële controle van cliënten bij de Voedselbank. In 2011 heb ik 2 maanden meegewerkt op een kleuterschool in Marokko. Mijn ambitie is om iedere 5 jaar 2 maanden verlof op kunnen te nemen om in het buitenland vrijwilligerswerk te doen.
