About Lilian Phan

My name is Lilian Phan and I am a Registered Nurse from California State University, Fullerton’s Accelerated BSN program. I am a highly motivated individual who seeks to build my skillset over time to eventually be able to teach and help newer generations of nurses with my knowledge. I am currently pursuing the role of a clinical registered nurse, who can work on medical surgical and telemetry floors. I believe that it is extremely essential to build a strong foundation in nursing, and that being on these specific floors will help me strengthen my time management skills as well as expose me to various clinical presentations. I am a person who values prioritizing my time and making my actions meaningful, and I believe that this position is perfect for me to do so. As someone who has volunteered at my local hospital for 5 years, I understand the value of commitment to quality patient care, and I believe that I am ready to use my critical thinking skills in aiding my future patients. Something that I put value in is teamwork and communication. As a registered clinical nurse, I will be committed to fostering lasting relationships with my peers in order to maximize my nursing journey and life-long learning. With the current pandemic, I hope to quickly join forces with other nurses to help ease any stress and workload that they may be currently facing. Compassion and empathy is a crucial factor when it comes to nursing, and our community needs it more than ever. I look forward to beginning my nursing career, and I hope to learn as much as possible over the next decade so that I can relay the best version of myself to future nursing students.
