As my profile suggests, I have had a few internships working for the government and have held a few customer service positions. Although my legal and professional jobs have been short internships, they have provided me a wealth of knowledge that I believe will be extremely valuable when I enter the job market. Because of these positions I feel I am better equipped to manage legal research and writing, manage client files, and feel comfortable working in an office setting. My customer service positions have given me far different, but equally as beneficial, experiences as my professional positions. Working in customer service has provided me with the opportunity to work with the public and to be able to manage myself whilst working with the public. I am a firm believer that developing customer service skills will transfer to any job where working with people is essential and I am fortunate enough to have spent many years developing these skills.
