About Lilly Higgins

I have received my B.A. in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University. While at LMU I grew as an independent young woman eager to learn, excited for the opportunities ahead, and hopeful for paths that present themselves. I have been a strong leader in my campus community along with seeking out collective compassion and humanity in the workforce. The companies I have been a part of value the need for mental health, education, and wellness. I hope to find a company that aligns with these ideals and has the ability to make real change. I have maintained support for the wellness of our society and the planet we live on. My past job opportunities have consisted of managing my own "People Like Me: Co-Occurring Diagnosis" meeting through LMU’s Recovery Center, creating a space where children with developmental disabilities can flourish, and assisting young women through their in-patient journey. I have also spent my past two summers volunteering with The Suwandi Foundation, which acknowledges the importance of education for children in Bali. Teaching English to children seven to fourteen-year-olds has allowed me exploration into the lives of such intelligent people. And I am grateful for the opportunity to engage in their communities and culture. Aside from school, working, and volunteering I have a passion for the arts. I enjoy playing guitar, singing, writing poetry, taking photos, and painting. Through these activities, I am able to prioritize my mental wellness and physical well-being; continuing to seek out my passions. I look forward to finding a role that allows me to promote my degree in psychology, share my experiences, as well as showcasing my passions.
