About Lilly Lester

Hello! I'm a recent UBC Honours Art History graduate (with high distinction) and the former Director & Curator of The Hatch Art Gallery, where I led exhibitions and managed the AMS Permanent Art Collection. In that role, I also consulted on curatorial projects with student associations and university partners, combining curatorial advising with arts administration. During my time at UBC, I served as President of the Art History Students’ Association and held executive roles within the Arts Undergraduate Society, including Vice President of Student Life. I was actively involved in student governance and contributed to community building and advocacy on behalf of upper-year and fine arts students. I’m now preparing to pursue legal studies, with a focus on art law, copyright, and cultural policy, while exploring broader fields such as corporate law and other areas where legal frameworks intersect with business and culture.
