About Lilly Roberts

Hello, I am a fourth year Tourism Co-op student at Brock University. From a young age travel both excited and fascinated me, as did the service industry in which the global world or local communities can be made more accessible. I would love to contribute to this accessibility within the Niagara or Hamilton communities or work for companies that inspire me like HOPA Ports. My experience working at my local library, leading children’s book clubs, drop-in games, and the Reading Buddies program that pairs high school volunteers with young children for one-on-one reading sessions, affirmed that I can make a difference on this career path. It was extremely fulfilling to provide a service to my local community. I felt the same sense of purpose working at Harbour West Marina, where my tasks of organizing boater appreciation events, cleaning facilities, and creating fun videos for social media, contributed to enhancing the recreational summer experience. I have been described as organized, creative, and enthusiastic about having a positive impact on communities. In my past-time I enjoy planning trips for my family: finding accommodations, attractions, and planning out each day and the routes from place to place.
