About Lilly Yant

I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Accounting in 2023. Over the years, I’ve built a diverse skill set that spans both the retail and accounting sectors. From 2018 to mid-2020, I worked at a women’s boutique in Portland, Oregon, where I gained hands-on experience in roles ranging from barista and stock clerk to display assistant and marketing director’s assistant. This experience honed my proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Runit, a point-of-sale and retail management system. In 2021, I transitioned to a bookkeeper role with a start-up company, further developing my skills in QuickBooks. During the spring semester of my senior year in 2023, I completed an audit internship with Aprio. Upon graduation, I accepted a full-time role as an Audit Associate, starting in the fall of 2023. Since then, I have gained valuable experience across multiple industries, including Fintech, Technology, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Retail, Franchising, and Hospitality. I look forward to further expanding my knowledge and expertise in these sectors. My passion for helping businesses succeed is what drives my career in accounting. I aspire to assist organizations, both small and large, in staying accountable and identifying opportunities for growth. I am currently studying for my CPA license with the goal of achieving it as my next milestone. Outside of work, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoy staying active through fitness, and value spending time with friends and giving back to my community.
