As a certified Speech-Language Pathologist I have found my passion in serving the geriatric population: particularly those navigating long-term care, rehab-to-home transitions, and the complexities of dementia. Every day, I am reminded that communication is more than just speech.I am deeply committed to providing empathetic, patient-centered care. I strive to go beyond clinical outcomes by taking the time to truly know my residents, to advocate for their needs, and to ensure that each individual feels seen, heard, and valued. Whether I’m supporting someone through cognitive-linguistic recovery, or helping a family understand dysphagia, I believe in the power of just caring and how deeply that can impact a life.My clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and a strong belief that quality of life should be prioritized at every stage of care. I value education, not just for myself, but for families and caregivers.Working in skilled nursing facilities and memory care communities has given me a profound respect for the resilience of older adults. It’s an honor to be part of their journey.
