Beginning my professional transition into research integrity just before the COVID pandemic began has left me strongly connected to the work that I currently do at OHSU. My office helped coordinate the review and approval of frontline COVID research and I was fortunate to support those efforts in my role as an Integrity Analyst. Having since been promoted, I actively review human subjects research where reliance is waived to central IRBs and also support Conflict of Interest in Research management.
