About Lily C.

Writing has always been a love of Lily's. The influence of her English Professor mother and Electrical Engineer father set up the integral foundation to whom she's become. Growing up in Indianapolis, with a foot in dance and sports, writing poetry, and living out imaginative backyard adventures, storytelling has been ingrained into her makeup. Throughout the years, working in multiple media disciplines from photography to online video to film/TV, both in the United States and internationally, has given Lily the experience and appreciation for the whole filmmaking process. This includes the good fortune of working on Oscar and Emmy winning projects like Guillermo Del Toro's "Pinocchio" and Apple's "Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock." After working on the development side of film and TV, Lily decided to pursue screenwriting full-time. Her scripts focus on female-forward characters that span different genres in the commercial and Indie realms. She loves all kinds of stories but especially the stories that explore various perspectives and the complexity of humanity that involves the past and future.
