It all started in my parents''Home Office'- the glorified name for the space that occupied a clunky PC unit that operated with a firm tap, pull-out desk with the most piercing of squeaks, and a desk chair as big as me. that's where my love of writing was realised! At 9 years old, I was awarded the Young Writers Association 'Special Recognition Award' for my talent in creative writing. Fast forward 16 years: countless hours of self-teaching, 1 first class honours degree and several voluntary roles later, I have found myself sitting happily under the digital marketing umbrella. I have been writing professionally for 5 years, alongside 5+ years of digital marketing experience, for small start up businesses, right through to well established brands: with strengths in copywriting, social media, content creation, strategising and branding.
