Hi and welcome to my profile! My name is Lily and I will be graduating this May with a Finance major and a Political Science minor from the University of Utah. Currently, I am one of six women on the U of U undergraduate Student Investment Fund (SIF). I am on the social team, in charge of running the fund's social media, planning events, and networking to find guest speakers. My job for the last year has been with Three Seasons Wealth, an influential private wealth management firm in SLC. I work as an executive assistant, meaning that I have the opportunity to work directly with all of the executives at the firm, as well as the entities we support or work closely with. Because of the nature of my position, I have been able to gain experience in many sectors including; real estate, financial planning, mutual funds, investment banking, accounting, marketing, and event planning. I have been fortunate in the support and mentorship opportunities I have received in this company. Last winter I had an internship with AmeriCorps and Salt Lake County. The position put me in charge of scheduling and recruiting volunteers to serve at the county's emergency homeless shelter. For the 2023-2024 school year, I teamed up with a couple of medical students to compete in the Utah Bench to Bedside program. Our med-tech startup, T-Scope, won the consumer choice award at last year's competition. With our award, we received a giant check and an invitation to present our product at NEOMED last spring! At the moment, our prototypes are being field tested by doctors in rural areas of Nepal and Peru.I have held many other positions from Stylist at a designer dress boutique, to teaching swimming lessons, to serving ice cream. Through each of these jobs, I have found that my ability to chat and make people giggle is my most valuable asset. I plan to attend law school the year after next where I plan to study International Law and Diplomacy. But, even if you are not in the legal sector, I would love to connect! I am always open to new opportunities and experiences.
