About Lily Wells

Every day, I make life better for millions of children and their families. A survivor of childhood trauma, I empower communities to uplift families and nurture children. I am an exceptional connector, linking concepts, resources, and people for holistic solutions to social issues. As an accomplished relationship manager, I help communities identify shared strategic vision. I’m constantly thinking about every aspect of short and long-term goals and finding folks ready to commit needed resources. As project manager, I ensure plans and processes include cross-team strategies and concepts vital to upcoming projects. Revisions are unavoidable, but I ensure they aren’t caused by overlooking interconnections to the next big thing. An interdisciplinary visionary, I break down barriers and siloes. I integrate and enhance parallel processes to intertwine family wellbeing and community needs with the priorities of academic, political, and industry leaders. I seek to make myself replaceable. Replaceable? Yes! My job isn’t to make myself indispensable, but to build capacity and resilience within communities and organizations. If a community I served can’t repeat the process to solve their next problem, then I have failed. I am actively seeking nonprofit board service opportunities.
