About Lilya Ouksel

I feel it is an ethical obligation to utilize my education and experience to contribute to a sustainable approach to business and development. As a consultant in Environmental Management Information Systems, I assist my clients in streamlining their EHS business processes. I design, configure, troubleshoot, document, and train in top-of-the-line EMIS solutions such as Enablon, UL PURE (formerly cr360), and Intelex. These solutions are the tools that will bring industry in line with sustainability, make sense of big data in the EHS space, and ensure progress for both the private sector and the globe. As a master’s student in Environmental Engineering at Duke University, I analyzed the effectiveness of a biogas-powered, self-sanitizing toilet for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. During my undergraduate education, I designed municipal sewer and rural potable water distribution systems. Internships included sampling and analyzing groundwater, in-the-field soil classification, and in-lab soil analysis.
