I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) in health care administration and management from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, School of Public Health (SPH). My goal is to leverage my medical knowledge and scribing experience to advance my career in health care management and policy. I am passionate about improving health outcomes and access for diverse and underserved populations. As a medical scribe at Northwell Health, I support physicians, PA and nurses in documenting patient information, taking history. I ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with HIPAA guidelines in all records and charts. I have contributed to improving the efficiency, quality, and safety of patient care at the facility. I am also a foreign medical graduate with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Dhaka, and a certified EKG technician (CET) and phlebotomy technician (CPT) by HHCA. I have over seven years of experience in medical scribing, working with various health care providers and settings. I have developed strong skills in medical terminology, phlebotomy, vital signs, and basic life support (BLS).
