About Lin Oxley
I grew up in Staffordshire where I developed a love of the countryside and all things rural. Having also lived in neighbouring Derbyshire and travelled widely I have now returned to Staffordshire where I enjoy walking, motorcycling, muscle cars and country pursuits. My career to date has seen forty plus years of sales and marketing, PR and promotional experience, and for much of it I have concentrated on small to medium businesses. Previous careers include seven years with British Telecom and fifteen with The British Association of Shooting and Conservation as their Trade Marketing Officer. This enabled me to get to know many in the gun trade and associated businesses, their day to day issues and challenges. I spent a year living and working in Germany then returned to the UK and gun trade, meeting with new and familiar faces, endeavouring to play a beneficial part in The Gun Trade Association’s long history as the deputy director and ensuring that the GTA remains the go-to organisation for all things trade related.
