About Lin Skinner

I’m a Chartered Accountant with a professional background spanning Deloitte, entrepreneurship, and the charity sector — all underpinned by a deep commitment to inclusion, health, and community wellbeing. I’ve spent the past decade supporting people to overcome financial hardship as a trained Money and Debt Coach with Christians Against Poverty, during this time I also co-founded a small business and took on leadership roles in school and youth charities. Even while on a break from paid work to support my family, I continue to volunteer — running free budgeting courses and mentoring others. I’m also a passionate believer in the power of physical activity for both mental and physical health. I compete as a masters athlete with Kent AC and coach runners of all abilities as a UKA-qualified Endurance Coach. I’m especially focused on supportive coaching for women throughout all life stages, and on making sport and movement more inclusive and accessible to all. I bring together skills in governance, risk, coaching, communication, and lived experience of supporting those in need — and I care deeply about helping people thrive financially, physically, and emotionally.
