About Lin Tan

I started my career in marketing communications. As a creative and energetic person, this was right up my alley. I enjoyed working on new campaigns and identifying key messages that would hook my audiences. Perhaps it was also my keen interest in consumer behaviour that made things more exciting. Years later, business development weaved its way into my job scope. What I enjoy most about business development is that it always keep me on my toes. Business development has taught me to listen and identify my client's needs, sometimes it's about reading between the lines! I also learnt the importance of managing multiple portfolios and my client's expectations. Being a social person has also helped me excel in this role as I always enjoy meeting new clients. I've been fortunate that my last few roles in business development have allowed me to work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm on new strategies and market segments. Having experience in both areas has given me the confidence to value add to my company and clients. I am currently looking forward to my next opportunity and hope to take my skills and knowledge to the next level!
