About Lin Tuleimat

I am an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Neurology with a strong academic and clinical background, combining specialist training in neurology with active research and teaching. Having graduated with First Class Honours in Medicine and a Distinction in MSc Clinical Neurology (University of Sheffield), I have continued to build a career that bridges clinical excellence, research innovation, and education.My experience spans neurology, internal medicine, and neurorehabilitation across leading NHS Trusts, with practical expertise in movement disorders, spasticity management (including botulinum toxin), and stroke care. Alongside clinical practice, I contribute to research in neurodegeneration and biomarkers in Parkinson’s disease, with multiple publications in medical journals and ongoing roles as an Associate PI in multicentre clinical trials. I also hold a PGCert in Clinical Research. I am deeply committed to medical education, serving as a tutor and teaching assistant for medical students, postgraduates, and MSc learners across several UK universities. By pursuing professional accreditation (MAcadMEd, FHEA), I aim to continually refine my teaching practice and educational leadership.Beyond medicine, I hold accreditation in Lifestyle Medicine (CertLM) and am a certified yoga instructor, reflecting my belief in holistic, patient-centred approaches to health. I also create content on my platform Holistic Health Flow, raising awareness around preventive medicine and wellbeing.
