My current position as General Manager of Cookie Time is people-focused, building and coaching teams of great people who do great work. As a strategic thinker, I am passionate about ensuring the company vision is shared and understood in a way that creates a shared sense of purpose, whilst allowing individuals to see how they fit into the big picture and where they can add value. Everybody in the business has the ability and opportunity to speak up and influence outcomes, in line with one of Cookie Time’s long held mantras – ‘it’s what’s right, not who’s right’. I like to lead by example, and to keep an open door to tune into viewpoints across the business. We have fun with what we do, but equally we are 100% serious about getting things done. Operating in highly competitive FMCG industry, as our Cookie Time brands do, we all need to be nimble, decisive and not shy away from the hard questions. My strengths lie in charting a clear course, staying curious, making well-considered decisions and guiding people to step up and achieve their absolute best. A sense of humour and the ability to have a laugh underpins many of our interactions across the business. Most of all, what you see is what you get, I’m all about honesty, authenticity and keeping it real.
