With well over a decade of experience in leading research partnerships and innovation initiatives, I am passionate about bridging the gap between academia, community and industry to create positive social impact through research. As the Director of Research Partnerships and Compliance at Thompson Rivers University (TRU), I oversee contracts, compliance, and interactions with research partners and the community, ensuring the smooth operation of the research enterprise and the alignment of the university's strategic goals and values. I was the Founding Executive Director of Kamloops Innovation, a regional technology business accelerator supporting and mentoring technology-driven startups in their formative stages. Under my leadership, Kamloops Innovation has secured substantial grants, delivered impactful programs, and received national recognition for fostering community entrepreneurship and innovation. I am always eager to share my insights, collaborate on innovative projects, and contribute to a world where research and technology catalyze positive change.
