About Linda Andreozzi

Chaplaincy is the fulfillment of what my heart wants to spend my life doing from here on. Each day I spend time listening to, being with, comforting those who are sick, suffering or dying. When I was young, I was afraid of the dark; now I can be there with people who may be afraid of the dark that lies ahead of them—whether it's a surgery they are about to be wheeled in for, a difficult diagnosis, a loved one in the ED undergoing emergency procedures, or parents holding a deceased fetus in their arms; I am beside them. And, it's all very real. No fake client deadlines. Each encounter has meaning and purpose. Best of all, I get to work with healthcare professionals, who are equally dedicated to the care of their patients or residents. Since completing my CPE training and residency, I have become a skillful and compassionate chaplain. Patients and staff have thanked me often and remark that I have a good way with people. I strive to use my painting and my creativity for ministry too. What's most important to me is to be congruent–with each role in my life informed by the others. I hope that I manage creative projects with compassion; do ministry with my organizational skills; write as a curious seeker, minister with creativity. I want to cultivate grace, truth, and love, in each segment of my life—achieving a seamless continuity of thought, spirit, and work. I long for a single holistic, integrated, community of people working, living, and thriving together. I'm happy you, my Linked-in friends, are a part of the community in which I live.
