About Linda Bargas

I thrive when assisting individuals and organizations to be and to present their best possible selves. Having provided outstanding written communication and customer service in both the business and education sectors, my people skills pair well with an exceptional work ethic, driving me to anticipate the needs of others. I am an organized, analytical, critical, and creative thinker who fortifies problem solving at all levels. Uniquely detail oriented with an innate ability to also see "the big picture," as well as a person’s or organization’s underlying potential. I have a strong pursuit of understanding and sharing that drives a desire to convey easily understood information. I am truly an editor at heart! With extensive experience working in confidential and sensitive environments, I would be a valuable member to any team. I harness a compelling initiative, the capability to work independently with little or no supervision, and, just as importantly, the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team or group atmosphere. I am proficient in both Google and Microsoft Office Suites, Weebly, MailChimp, PC and Apple, Serif Draw Plus, and Facebook pages/groups/events. I have previously led a website conversion to Blackbaud. I have past or blossoming experience in Adobe InDesign, WordPress, Google Analytics, HTML, eTapestry, Raiser’sEdge, NxTrend, DG Unix, e-commerce, Shiva LanRover, and Dun & Bradstreet reporting. I haven’t had much professional bandwidth for video editing, there are only so many hours in a day, but I find it enjoyable and would be thrilled with an opportunity to learn more.(Incidentally, one of my first jobs was in accounting at a home video equipment firm.) I love to learn! In order to fulfill my desire to benefit those in need, I prefer to provide my unique skillset in the educational, reading, and/or nonprofit sectors. For example, I greatly enjoyed volunteering my time in marketing and public relations for my son’s FFA Chapter. My yin-yang profile pic conveys my dichotomic and creative nature. I am flexible (literally and figuratively), a chameleon, if you will. Fun/serious. Outdoors/indoors. Bright/deep. Curly/straight. Windows/Apple. I look forward to sharing my lifelong love of animals and nature.
