I love being a nurse! I have been a Registered nurse for 16 yrs. I have enjoyed PCU level mostly cardiac nursing. I was honored with the "Nursing Excellence Award' in 2015 and again in 2019. Within the last 5 years Other areas of nursing have opened up for me. I had a wonderful opportunity to work as a RDS and help and support the new hires assimilate into the work place. Achieving my goal of a Masters degree in nursing education has allowed me to be a part of educating the nursing students by bring them into the hospital setting. I find that it is very rewarding to be an educator. Weather it is at the bedside with patients and families, with new nurses or providing support and education for the nursing students.
