About Linda Elder

I am the president of the Foundation for Critical Thinking, a 501c3 non profit organization, which, with its sister organization, The Center for Critical Thinking, is the longest running institution on critical thinking in the world. Our organization, founded almost 40 years ago, advances the highest level of scholarship in critical thinking, and is one of the rare few independent think tanks of scholars fostering critical thinking internationally. Our approach is authorized for use in the U.S. Military through the Army Field Manual - in all branches of the military and in the intelligence community. I hope to connect with all people who share the goal of advancing fairminded critical thinking in society, at work, and in all domains of human life. We need support to continue advancing this work. Visit our website at: Let me know if you are interested in an interview or presentation with me or one of our scholars, on the subject of critical thinking, or if you can help advance our work in any way. I also suggest that you visit our bookstore online to obtain resources which will help you develop as a thinker. If you are a teacher, you will find many curriculum materials at our website as well.
