About Lindsay Brown

I am currently the Programme Manager for three Scottish Government funding programmes; Children, Young People, Families Early Intervention Fund and Adult Learning Empowering Communities Fund (CYPFEIF & ALEC) and Children, Young People, Families, Adult Learning Third Sector Fund (CYPFAL Third Sector Fund) and UNCRC Innovation Fund at the Corra Foundation. I am responsible for grant management, fund contract management and relationship building across the sector. I also help to manage a capacity building programme where we develop and deliver a variety of workshops and an annual conference to organisations in both CYPFEIF & ALEC and CYPFAL Third Sector Fund to address particular needs and themes that been identified. I am very passionate about the Third Sector in Scotland and I enjoy meeting new organisations and encouraging organisations to work together taking collaborative approaches to their work. I have extensive experience in participatory grantmaking and focussing on lived experience to inform decision making and progress report reviews. With the number of challenges that the sector is facing at the moment it's important that organisations work collaboratively to maximise their resources and capacity and to enhance the support being offered to those who need it most. I've worked in the funding sector for over 12 years holding previous roles at The National Lottery Community Fund and Life Changes Trust, where I gained extensive knowledge of different funding approaches, developing funding programmes, assessing applications, decision making and grant management.
