About Lindsay Cunningham

Starting at the age of 6 I was involved in our families bed and breakfast business where I learned to work hard and build costumer relations. These skills that I learned at a young age prepared me for future jobs, such as a supervisor at our communities aquatic center, where in addition to continuing to build customer relationships I succeeded at supervising staff and managing money. I currently work as a science teacher at Cedar High School. In this position, I have had amazing opportunities to connect with students and collaborate with incredible faculty who have taught and challenged me to be better in many ways. This year, my team of science teachers has been given the responsibility to pilot a standard based grading program for our school district. This has presented us with many challenges that we have overcome. Through this piloting program I have been gained valuable experience communicating with staff, administration, parents and students to allow for a smooth transition to this new program.
