About Lindsay Davis

I have 5+ years of experience in office administrative work for an array of industries (medical, electronics, legal, etc.) and during my time in these roles I had the opportunity to work with different departments, such as Marketing and Accounting. I really enjoyed working in Marketing; I loved the creative AND the analytical side of it. It was there I discovered I have an eye and passion for design and built on my graphic design skills. Though I'm not currently committed to a specific 'department' so to speak, I’ve found that if I feel I’m making a difference, there’s not really a place where I won’t find passion and fit myself into. I work great in team environments but I’m also self-sufficient. I’m highly attentive to detail and I don't think that's something I could change even if I wanted to. I’m currently working as a Sourcing Specialist for the Purchasing department at Advanced Assembly. One of the best things I’ve learned in my current position is that no matter where or what, potential is greatest in those who can adapt to change. Some things about me: I’m passionate and creative. I love learning new things and have always found the best way to get good at something is to jump in headfirst. I believe there’s a kind way to talk to someone no matter the situation. I’m receptive to feedback. I can be a leader or a follower (I can easily adjust to what people need). I believe we’ll never know everything; that we’ll always have something to learn. I’m also sort of a millennial anomaly – I’m tech savvy but I don’t live in the social media world (unless it’s for my job). I have done and don’t mind the manual, hard work but I also find excitement in making things run more efficiently by using new strategies or technologies. And I care a lot about the quality of work I put out.
