About Lindsay Johnson

I began my nursing career with a BANG in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit. It was exciting, but stressful and by the time I’d been on the unit for six years, I found myself burned out. I left my beloved unit and spent the next few years trying to find my place, including earning my Masters in Nursing in Clinical Systems Leadership. It was after the birth of my second child that I knew that it was time for a change. I quit my job, became a board certified nurse coach, and starting helping other moms who needed some love. I believed that if I could help people get healthier, I could keep them out of units like my cardiothoracic ICU. What I began to realize, was health wasn’t just about nutritious food, exercise, and sleep. Wellness was impacted by:* Self worth, perfectionism, and shame * Stress response * Trauma history * Racial oppression, ableism, bigotry, & sexism * Mental and emotional health * Adequate community care *.and MORE! So now, I care for the caregiver, with an understanding that health and wellness is just as much of a individual responsibility as it is our community's. I want to show you that you are not alone in this. As an integrative wellness nurse coach, I do more than help my clients achieve their health goals.
