About Lindsay Kessler

I have built my career in the creative and educational arts. My passion for teaching and working with children has led me to earn my Master’s Degree in Art Education. I have had the opportunity to work as an art educator at the Children's Museum of the Arts in New York City, where I led school groups in interactive, multi-sensory gallery tours and art-making experiences. In my community in Florida, I designed and ran workshops and lessons at local elementary schools and high schools, and facilitated large-scale local events for children of all ages. My goal is to work in the field of art education as a teacher or in arts administration or programming development. I also have a particular interest in community work and promoting learning beyond classroom walls. I have also been a professional graphic designer for over 3 years and I currently do freelance corporate design work in addition to teaching. My combined backgrounds in art education, theater arts, and graphic design make me accustomed to adapting to new environments and approaching art, design, and learning from different perspectives.
